My Hero Academia Meets Bleach in Epic Crossover Episode

In one of the most epic crossovers, anime has ever seen, the world of the long-running manga Bleach meets that of the popular anime My Hero Academia in episode 356 of Bleach: The Thousand Year Blood War. The crossover episode follows protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki and friends as they battle against Sōsuke Aizen’s army of Arrancars and Quincy Clones, while Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki go on a rescue mission to save Tsuyu Asui after her capture by villain Overhaul and the League of Villains.

The Beginning of the End

After a long wait, the anime Bleach finally returned for its final battle against Aizen. The series premiered on October 3, 2017, and concluded with episode 366 on November 2, 2018.
Meanwhile, the second season of My Hero Academia was released this past April. Its first major arc is centered around Class 1-A and their internship with pro hero All Might while they're training to become heroes in their own right. Now that both series have come to an end, let's take a look at the crossover between these two popular anime.
The crossover episode aired on November 30th and was titled The Beginning of the End. It starts out with Midoriya realizing that he had forgotten his notebook at school.

Rescue

This week the world of anime was rocked with a crossover episode between two of Japan's most popular series, Boku No Hero Academia and Bleach. The first half of the episode was devoted to Akira Toriyama's Bleach and the second to Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia. By this point, it is no surprise that both shows are wildly popular with their respective audiences.
I am a big fan of both anime so I was really excited about this crossover and wanted to see how it turned out. I'll be honest and say that I thought the Bleach half was better than My Hero Academia, but that may just be because Bleach is my favorite from both series.

Immortality

Bleach has been around for a long time and is one of the most popular anime series of all time. My Hero Academia is quite the opposite. It's only a few years old and doesn't have the same amount of popularity as Bleach, but it still has a huge fan base. The two series are surprisingly similar when you look at their synopsis on Wikipedia. They both follow young people with supernatural abilities who attend high school to learn how to use their powers to save humankind from evil forces.

Assassination

The popular anime, Boku no Hero Academia (also known as My Hero Academy) and the manga, Bleach have collaborated on an episode that has been highly anticipated. However, the two series couldn't be more different. They are set in different worlds with different characters and styles of fighting. The two protagonists, Izuku Midoriya and Ichigo Kurosaki couldn't be more opposite. In this crossover episode, we see them team up to save the world from a deadly threat!

Fight with All Our Strength

Kuroko no Basket and Bleach may seem like two totally different anime but they actually share a lot of similarities. They both feature heroes and villains, both are shounen manga series, and they both have a colorful cast of characters. The differences are that Bleach is more mature than Kuroko no Basket, while the latter has an emphasis on teamwork and friendship.

Friends Fight Together

In the episode, Izuku Midoriya and Ichigo Kurosaki, both heroes-in-training, get caught up in the middle of a war between the Soul Society and a group of evil spirits. They are helped by one of their friends who have previous experience with fighting these beings. Together they manage to defeat them.

No One Can Stop This Thing We Started

In the latest episode of Bleach, we saw a crossover with My Hero Academia. The two universes actually make a lot of sense together. We've seen Ichigo and all the other characters go up against villains like Stain, who can use quirks to their advantage, and they have to try and figure out a way to take them down without their powers. In My Hero Academia, Izuku has been fighting Stain too--only this time he's powerless! He can't use his quirk because it would just make things worse for everyone.
In Bleach, Ichigo has had to overcome this dilemma too--only instead of not having any powers at all, he's had to battle against enemies that are much more powerful than him.
